Ted will describe approaches and several efforts to create tools using AI to help students and professionals. We are especially interested in tools that help people think more broadly, such as Content-Verify. We draw also from Ted's AI and Design courses for examples of using AI to move from answering questions to helping students have, evaluate, create, and present ideas.

Dr. Ted Selker is known for demonstrating and testing new ways of using technology and designing products. He works to create and guide strategic emerging technology opportunities. He has been a professor at CMU, MIT Media Lab, and Stanford, and has held positions at several other universities. He also worked in industrial research, was an IBM Fellow, worked at Amazon, Atari, Magic Leap, and Xerox PARC. Ted's innovations have contributed to products ranging from medical devices to notebook computers to operating systems. Ted is BayCHI's elected chair.
