Signup starts the free plan, with no card required. Without Core, a household uses the free plan, which has no end date. Up to 5 wallets, with their DeFi positions and NFTs, and any number of exchanges refresh once a day while someone in the household signs in at least weekly, and the household can refresh one of them on demand once a day. Wallet refreshes count toward a monthly data-cost limit. CSV import, manual accounts and holdings, the tax preview, and read-only MCP connections for AI agents are included. Bank and brokerage connections, the BetterOff Assistant, bills and subscriptions, Checklist, To-Do, exports, unlimited on-demand refresh, and inviting household members need Core. Core is $20/month, plus applicable tax, when you subscribe. There is no annual plan.
Account imports use read-only data connections. Those connections cannot transfer money, trade, withdraw, or change account settings. Investing actions use a separate authorization: you sign each one with your own wallet.
Trading and Investing are live. Available actions depend on the chain, provider, and your eligibility. BetterOff prepares each action, you review it, and your own wallet signs it. BetterOff does not hold your funds or keys. With Core, Banking moves money between your own accounts through Natural, after you confirm with a passkey. Account imports remain read-only. Polymarket exits and agent transfers are not yet generally available. Rebalancing between bank accounts and DeFi is planned.
BetterOff connects supported banks and brokerages through Plaid. Check coverage for your institution before starting. Available balances, transactions, and holdings depend on the connection.
Wallets on 100 chains, added by public address: 70 EVM chains including Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum, plus Solana, Bitcoin, and 20 Cosmos chains. Every chain reports token balances. 40 include transaction history, and 94 report staking and DeFi positions. A public address cannot move funds, and BetterOff does not ask for a private key or recovery phrase.
