NETWORKS / CODE

01 / About me Understand. Build. Improve.

Networks, code
& a curious mind.

I’m cent. I work with networks, Python and Go, connecting packet-level understanding with practical software.

I enjoy working through the layers of a technical problem: inspecting traffic in Wireshark, tracing a connection issue, or writing code to make a repetitive task easier.

Follow the traffic.
Find the answer.

Wireshark, IP networking and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.

I work with packet inspection, addressing, routing and device configuration. I connect what’s happening in the traffic to how the network is configured.

Networking toolkit

  • Wireshark packet inspection & display filters
  • Protocol analysis & connection troubleshooting
  • IPv4 / IPv6 & subnetting
  • Static routing & Cisco IOS
  • Router and switch configuration
  • HTTP / HTTPS & session configuration

Programming / Automation / Troubleshooting

Make the routine
work for you.

I build Python and Go tools that connect APIs, browsers and live dashboards.

My work spans Go services with cancellable tasks and streamed status updates, Python monitoring interfaces, and FastAPI endpoints backed by Redis. I focus on how data moves, how state changes and what happens when a request fails.

Beyond the happy path

Request validation, cancellation, retry handling and persistent state. I work with the parts that make an interactive tool predictable when inputs change or a connection drops.

How I work

Observe. Isolate.
Build. Verify.

01

Understand the problem.

Start with the expected behaviour and what actually happens. Look at the inputs, traffic and configuration before choosing a fix.

02

Work through the layers.

Separate network issues from application logic. Keep configuration clear, break the task into smaller steps and test each assumption.

03

Check the result.

Review the output, test the interaction and refine the details. A solution should be understandable as well as useful.
