I've been sick as a dog for 8 days, and now I'm about to get smacked in the face by a hurricane. I've also noticed whenever power goes out for big sections of Mobile, my neighborhood is always among the last to get it restored (reckon cuz we po', so we don't matter). I actually ordered my first Big Gurl Now power bank with a solar panel and all .... supposed to arrive Friday .... oh pleasepleaseplease don't lie to me Walmart! But enough about me. -All the weather models are predicting this thing to slop the whole Southestern U.S. and maybe on up the East coast too. -Not just with tons of rain but lots of tornado potential as well. There may have never been a better time for Columbus Day to give us a Monday off shipping, but 3-day weekends also tend to clog up the postal facilities when people bring in tons of packages on the next Tuesday .... and who knows how many sellers will still be without power or who-knows-what by then anyway. Yeah, it's still a bit too early to know exactly how bad this will be, but it won't be good.

I recently raised all my shipping charges to $8.40 because that's what it costs me to ship even a small 4 oz. package via GA. I'm shipping out my weekend sales tonight and just realized that $8.40 just went up to $8.95. I don't know how I (and many other small sellers) are going to survive this.

I opened a case and eBay agreed in my favour. I am away and cannot return the item with the eBay given date. How can I advise eBay to extend it.

Exact same t-shirt: AI says the black one is counterfeit ... but the blue one is fine. Another exact same t-shirt: AI says the XL one is counterfeit ... but the L one is fine.

I have been an Ebayer for over 15 years with over 1200 positive feedbacks and zero complaints. . This past month, for the first time, I have asked to have my product promoted and from previous sales I was under the impression there was a flat fee of roughly 10 dollars or so to do that. There are no specific directions, unless one digs into quite a few links as to how this choice leads to charges. My article for sale was over 3K and EBAY ended up taking almost 30% of my sale for simply telling me they were going to boost the ad. As anyone who uses EBAY knows, if you have a card or other item graded, you've already spent a considerable amount of your own funds to do so. When sold, I was charged a fee of over three hundred dollars as a final value fee and then another fee of over three hundred dollars as a "promotion" fee. Had there been better pre-choice information readily available, to be sure, I would never have given EBAY the chance to acquire 30% of my funds fron the sale. Please understand that allowing EBAY to place your item in this position is a losing move. Apparently, there is no recourse to help a loyal user as EBAY AI CHAT runs you around in circles without giving you an opportunity to email a complaint to the higher officers in the corporation. SO sad.

This mainly pertains to clothing, but it can relate to other items. You know how you get buyers either cancelling or messaging you after purchasing because they bought the wrong size or color than they intended to? It makes me wonder, do those guys even pay attention to their checkout pages before submitting the order? I wonder how many buyers actually caught their mistake when looking at their checkout page and were able to change their orders rather than deal with “damage control” and message the seller to fix their wrong orders. Many of which are unfixable because their item already got shipped out. Much like one of my buyers today. I think many buyers don’t understand that the checkout page is there for you to look over and confirm everything to be correct and valid before committing to the purchase. It’s not supposed to treated like a nuisance where you have to click one more time to complete purchase.

When a buyer files a not as described return with a laundry list (3 or more) of reasons that the item you sold is not as described? Especially with items that have a pretty low return rate for clothing. How likely is it to have not one, but three different SNAD reasons for one item?? Whenever I get this from a buyer I always think they are up to something. I know it doesn't matter because I still have to honor the return blah blah blah. But making me suspicious can alter the way I handle the return or how critical I'll be when I inspect the returned item. For example, whether or not to look the other way when I see pet fur on the returned clothing. Many times I find there's absolutely nothing wrong with the returned item and the buyer was just lying to circumvent return shipping costs. You can assume that I just ran into such a buyer. She scrunched up the clothing and measured it so the readings are smaller than it should be since it's not lying flat and photoshopped one of the photos to increase the contrast to highlight wrinkles to look like cracks. But yea, I already knew with this buyer's list of SNADs that she was full of it. Iamalwaysright.

HELP! Can anyone help me? I bought some toys on eBay for the Children's Christmas Charity back in July, and the seller, who seemed genuine, has strung me along for months and still hasn't sent them. I sent her one last email about a week ago, and I still haven't received a response or the toys. I tried to cancel the two auctions, and now eBay's AI says it's too late. Has anyone experienced anything like this or know how to get in contact with eBay or PayPal?  Can you please help me I live on SSI, and this is a huge amount of money for me to lose. So what does it mean when I shipped 2 sets of 35mm photographic slides (1970s Japan scenery) using ebay international shipping and the package gets to the Glendale Heights, IL, hub, and they say in the tracking " Your item did not pass our inspection and will not be shipped back to you." There was nothing illegal or dangerous about shipping these slides to Australia. I called eBay, but all the agent could say was I am protected because I shipped to the correct address for international shipping. My buyer in Australia understands he will have to sort this out with eBay. Why would a package with slides not "pass inspection" and get "liquidated"? If the hub has made a mistake, I would think eBay owes my buyer a refund. Back in mid September my buyer bought other slides from me, and they got passed and are on their way to Australia. I have never had this happen before. I have been selling on eBay since the year 2000.

What is the current method? I used to sell them just fine, then there were concerns about sending digital codes so many sellers would send physically to show tracking - it seems protocol changed a few times. But since my concerns of sales risk escalated this last year, I'm hesitant to sell at a 20% discount but end up with 100% discount because buyer claims something like 'there was no value on it.' Are those sales also just history or is there a method to be able to transact?
