Read the docs →

Are Devicons free for commercial use?

Yes. Devicons is open source under the MIT license, so you can use the icons in personal and commercial projects. Each logo remains the trademark of its owner.

Which formats do the icons come in: SVG, React, Vue, Svelte or icon font?

Every icon is an optimized SVG you can download or hotlink from devicons.io, a React, Vue or Svelte component from npm, and a glyph in the devicons icon font.

How do I install Devicons in React, Vue or Svelte?

Run npm install @dev.icons/react (or @dev.icons/vue, @dev.icons/svelte), then import the icon by name, for example import { Css } from "@dev.icons/react". Astro projects use the React package.

Can I use the SVG logos without installing a package?

Yes. Every icon is served as an SVG at https://devicons.io/devicons/icons/{file}.svg in color and https://devicons.io/devicons/font/{file}.svg in monochrome. You can also download it from the icon page.

Do the logos come in monochrome versions?

Yes. Every icon ships in color and monochrome. The React, Vue and Svelte packages export the monochrome variants from their /mono subpath.

How do I request a new developer icon or logo?

Open an issue or pull request on the Devicons GitHub repository and the maintainers will review it.
