As a Master of Divinity student preparing for a career in medicine, Aaron Shirley found that his field education experience at Open Table Ministry in Durham shaped how he sees people for their full selves.

The annual Convocation & Pastors’ School is an intensive multi-day conference that offers lectures, worship, alumni gatherings, and seminars for Christian leaders of all traditions.

In commemoration of 100 years of Duke Divinity School, the Anglican Episcopal House of Studies and Fons Vitae will host a panel on the history of ecumenism at Duke Divinity School.

An ecumenical prayer service will take place at the mid-day liturgy of the word in Goodson Chapel, which in the Catholic calendar is the vigil of the feast of St. John Henry Newman.
