Failed to Hot Reload: DebugAdapterException: app 'null' not found #4542
@DanTup in which version was it fixed.
I am running 3.16.1 and I can't upgrade right now because it would bring breaking changes on my projects.
I encounter that issue only when trying to debug a web app on my Linux server, but I don't get it when using my Mac, so I am not sure if the issue is related to Flutter or my Linux Server development environment.
Based on the tags on flutter/flutter@46007d6, it appears the fix was around version 3.12 of Flutter. Since you're on newer than that, there might be a different issue.
Are you able to test on the latest stable temporarily? You can make a new clone of the Flutter SDK into a new folder, then in a test project open the "Workspace Settings" from VS Code (in .vscode/settings.json in that projects folder), and add:
This will use that SDK only for that project and let you test. If it's still not fixed there, then please file a new issue with as much detail as possible to help me reproduce the issue (and if I can't repro, I'll add notes on how to collect logs). Thanks!
