Unverified breakpoints running web in a workspace #5387
The breakpoint was grey (unverified) while compilation occured, but once the app loaded, it turned red (and subsequently, I could trigger it).
If you see different, can you provide exact steps for what you're doing, and also confirm whether the breakpoint is hit or not if you force the code to be executed?
I was using the new workspaces feature introduced in dart 3.6.0
I created this repo with the setup: https://github.com/TijlIvens/flutter_with_wokspace
Just run: flutter pub get in the root
Select Chrome device from the status bar
Add a breakpoint to the _counter++; line
Press F5 To launch from the root
Ah, thanks - I can repro now. I've filed dart-lang/webdev#2575 since this looks like an issue in DWDS. I'll keep this one open for now until there's a response there.

I don't seem to be able to reproduce this:
Here's what I did (using Flutter 3.27.1):
mkdir dartcode_5387cd dartcode_5387flutter create app1flutter create app2code .app1/lib/main.dartChromedevice from the status bar_counter++;lineF5to runThe breakpoint was grey (unverified) while compilation occured, but once the app loaded, it turned red (and subsequently, I could trigger it).
If you see different, can you provide exact steps for what you're doing, and also confirm whether the breakpoint is hit or not if you force the code to be executed?
Thanks!

A fix for this has landed in Flutter and will be included in a future SDK release.
