Devices aren't appearing when I click the menu in the bottom-right corner.

Describe the bug

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to 'Devices' (Bottom-Right)
Click on it.
Devices doesn't show up, instead it shows enable <platform> for this project

I noticed this today on master 3.33.0-1.0.pre-1123. It wasn’t happening yesterday on 3.33.0-1.0.pre-1094. Stable is fine.

Expected behavior

It should show the list of devices.

I also noticed that even though VSCode and IntelliJ are installed, they don’t show up in the flutter doctor output on the master channel. The output seems slightly different. Not sure if this is related to the issue with devices not appearing (which asks to enable a platform). Filing Issue in SDK tracker for this. Thanks!

I don't seem to be able to repro. Does this repro on a newly created project, or just this one? Could you try the following:

Press F1 to open the command palette
Run the Preferences: Open Workspace Settings (JSON) command
Add the following to the JSON:

I couldn't repro on Windows, but I'll get my Macbook set back up and do some testing there. One thing you could check - click Help -> Toggle Developer Tools and then see if there are any errors on the Console in the chrome dev tools that look like they might be related (anything related to Dart-Code, devices, flutter, daemon, etc.). Oh, I see the issue - Flutter removed the field we use just a few days ago in flutter/flutter#172593. My Flutter wasn't up-to-date enough to repro.

Apparently I had seen this deprecation (flutter/flutter#140112 (comment)) but I can't see that Dart-Code was ever updated.
