Output tab show two different entries for a single package when no pub get has been run #5988
@FMorschel do you have good steps to repro this? I'm struggling, and what I thought was the issue (that we tried to read the package name from .dart_tool before it existed) was wrong, as we read it from the pubspec.yaml!
I could not reproduce it again either. I'll keep trying but I think we can close this for now. If I ever see this again I can let you know. Thanks for looking into this anyway!
Found it again and I now know exactly what happened. I've created the project with Dart: New Project and then did a pub get with the pubspec.yaml button.
Thanks! This happens because in the "create" commands, we don't yet have a pubspec.yaml and therefore fail to read the package name from it. Working on a fix.
