MoreVideos takes a CSS-first approach — it never removes or injects DOM elements. Instead, it toggles CSS classes and custom properties on the page body to control visibility and layout. This makes it:
- Performant — no DOM manipulation overhead
- Resilient — less likely to break from YouTube updates
- Lightweight — pure vanilla JS, no frameworks or dependencies
The extension is SPA-aware and uses a MutationObserver to detect YouTube's client-side navigation, automatically re-applying your settings as you browse.
