ERROR: Circular dependency detected #125

Can you elaborate? Which package were you trying to build? What system are you on? Does the error message say what the dependency cycle is?
I'm trying to install pkgsrc from pkgsrc.tar.xz, im on chromeos, and this is the output when i try to install 2023Q2 Error (1).txt and when i try to install 2021Q1 it gives
Error.txtalso now when i try to do bootstrap on branch "current" it still gives me
ERROR: This package has set PKG_FAIL_REASON: ERROR: Circular dependency detectedWhen you say "I am on Chrome OS", do you mean
- at system level, in developer mode? (also called Crouton)
- inside the "Linux" terminal? (also called Crostini)
Can you please paste the command that you use for bootstrapping here? And save the output of

When I try to build pkgsrc from source it gave me this error:
ERROR: This package has set PKG_FAIL_REASON:
ERROR: Circular dependency detected
Any help would be appreciated.
