Project Info:
We are a little free software (as in freedom) project that aim to create a free and open-source operating system. It's first for educational purposes, and to help people to understand how it really works : kernels like Linux are too much complex to be easily understand with a small amount of time. We have a virtual architecture (KVISC) project for the very educational purpose as well. We are also involved in free communication, such as instant messaging, irc and email.

Who I am:
OS/K Team has two founders, neox95 and julianb0. I am neox95, and I am largely in charge of the administrative organization since the beginning of our project. I'm one of the main developers too.

Resource you need:
We plan to perform debian mirroring, but also (and this is something that matters to us) to host our own gitlab and perhaps compilation process, and a Jabber/XMPP server that supports OMEMO (which for us is probably the most free software and secure instant messenger that can exists today). We want also transfer our mail hosting to this VPS, because free software is very important in communications for us.
I do not think we need demented resources. For minimal spec, I think a dual core cpu, 8 Go of ram, 500Go of mass storage would be essential to do our stuff. If possible, quad core cpu, 16Go of ram, 1To of mass storage would be perfect.
In both cases, OS must be a recent linux distribution debian based, such as Ubuntu, or debian itself.

Our project is non lucrative, the founders are computer science students that would like to see our world become more free, more respectful of users and their rights.
