Currently demo, source and release needs to be mirrored, which come to roughly 300GB as writing. Upstream provides sync endpoint and credentials and would need to work with you to enable sync-trigger of some kind.
In my mirror, I have a restricted blender user created with upstream SSH key access. Whenever there's a new release, upstream just SSH which just triggers the rsync on my end.
