Applicant:
OneClickVirt https://github.com/oneclickvirt/oneclickvirt
Project Info:
OneClickVirt is an open-source universal virtualization management platform.
The full project name is OneClickVirt. Its mission is to make virtualization and container instance management easier, more automated, and more accessible for individual developers, small teams, students, labs, open-source maintainers, and self-hosting users.
The project currently supports multiple virtualization and container backends, including LXD, Incus, Docker, Podman, Containerd, Proxmox VE, QEMU/KVM, and KubeVirt. It provides a unified way to manage different virtualization environments and helps users test, deploy, and operate virtualized instances with a lower barrier to entry.
OneClickVirt is fully open source and contributes to the open-source ecosystem by providing a practical tool for virtualization management, automated testing, and reproducible VM/container environments. It is especially useful for developers and maintainers who need to test software across different virtualization platforms or manage lightweight virtualized environments.
For this application, I would like to request OSSPlanet’s Mirror service for public project file downloads and regional file distribution.

Who I am:
I am Jane White, the maintainer of OneClickVirt.
I am responsible for the project’s development, maintenance, platform integration, testing infrastructure, documentation, release management, and project resource distribution. My work includes implementing and maintaining support for different virtualization backends, improving API behavior, maintaining project documentation, preparing release-related files, and helping users deploy and use the project.

The project repository and commit history can be used to verify my role as the maintainer and contributor of the project. If needed, I can also add a verification note or sponsorship acknowledgement to the project README or documentation.
Resource you need:
I would like to request the OSSPlanet Mirror service for OneClickVirt.
I am not requesting a VPS/VM. I am requesting a mirror / public file download service for open-source project files, release-related resources, package files, image-related files, and public backup or download distribution needs.
Usage:
The mirror service will be used to host and distribute public OneClickVirt project files, such as release-related files, downloadable resources, project assets, package-related files, build artifacts intended for public distribution, and other open-source materials related to OneClickVirt.
The goal is to provide a stable public download endpoint and improve file download availability for users, especially users in Eastern Asia and nearby regions where access to upstream sources such as GitHub releases or other storage endpoints may sometimes be slow or unstable.
The mirror service will be used for:
Public file downloads for OneClickVirt project resources
Release-related files and downloadable assets
Package pool or package-related distribution if needed
Public backup of open-source project files
Regional download acceleration and bandwidth sharing for users in Eastern Asia
Providing HTTP/FTP/Rsync-accessible project resources if available
Minimal spec:
OSSPlanet Mirror service
Support for HTTP access
Ability to host public OneClickVirt project files
At least 20 GB usable storage
Reasonable bandwidth for public open-source project downloads
Optional custom domain or subdomain support would be helpful
Desired spec:
OSSPlanet Mirror service
Support for HTTP, FTP, and Rsync if available
150 GB storage or more
Stable bandwidth suitable for public project downloads and regional distribution
Ability to organize files by release, package, image, or project resource category
Optional custom domain or subdomain support
Suitable location or routing for users in Eastern Asia
Source URL / upstream:
The current upstream source is mainly the OneClickVirt GitHub project and its public release/project resources:
https://github.com/oneclickvirt/oneclickvirt
If OSSPlanet requires a fixed upstream source URL for mirroring, I can provide a dedicated public source endpoint, GitHub release URL, or rsync-compatible source later according to OSSPlanet’s preferred mirror workflow.
Mirror frequency:
A daily sync should be enough for most files.
For release-related resources, syncing every 6 to 12 hours would be ideal if supported, but daily sync is acceptable.
Other necessary info:
Only public open-source project files will be mirrored. No garbage files, unrelated private files, illegal content, copyrighted third-party content without permission, or unrelated personal backups will be uploaded or mirrored.
Any additional info.
The requested Mirror service will only be used for OneClickVirt open-source project files, release-related resources, package-related files, public downloads, and public backup/distribution materials related to the project.
It will not be used for resale, commercial hosting, private file storage unrelated to the project, illegal content, proxy services, cryptocurrency mining, spam, copyrighted content without permission, or any activity that violates OSSPlanet’s terms or acceptable usage policy.
OneClickVirt users may need to download project files, release assets, scripts, package-related resources, or test-related public resources. A mirror service can help reduce dependency on a single upstream source and improve download stability for users in Eastern Asia and nearby regions.
Ability to promote OSSPlanet
Yes, I would be happy to promote OSSPlanet.
If the application is approved, I can add OSSPlanet to the OneClickVirt README, documentation, project website, or sponsor/supporter section as a supporter of the project’s open-source mirror infrastructure. I can also include a short acknowledgement such as:
“Mirror infrastructure for OneClickVirt project resources is supported by OSSPlanet.”
I am also open to mentioning OSSPlanet in future project updates, release notes, or related documentation when appropriate.
