At our firm we have been migrating a large codebase from PS5 to PS7. To help with this, we created a set of PSScriptAnalyzer rules that will flag things that either won't work in PS7, or that have different behavior. Our goal is to make all code compatible with both versions, so we can move to PS7 in stages.
We are publishing these rules here: https://github.com/janestreet/PS7CompatibilityRules. If these rules are helpful, please let us know! If you encounter issues, please file an issue there.
We would also love to hear from other people that have gone through a similar project. What tools did you use?
