Chapter about Simple Payment Verification (SPV) #101
A chapter about Simple Payment Verification (SPV) wallets would be needed since it is referenced from both the Blockchain and P2WPKH. It should also include the description of Merkle trees.
I am unsure it is worth it. SPV (as in BIP37) have several issues now which are in a way worse for privacy as just asking to a centralized block explorer your wallet state.
The correct way to do, is downloading all the blocks, like @nopara73 did on HiddenWallet.
Merkle Tree and Merkle Branch might be useful concept though I agree.
BIP37 is getting out of trend, because of its flaws.
Full block downloading SPV wallet would be a nice chapter, we have two implementations in C# (HiddenWallet and Breeze Wallet).
Also don't forget the new client side filtering stuff: Ligthning Labs Neutrino.
