String Manips

String manipulation programs written in several languages for a small WiE talk.

first.py: shift the second of every double letter down by five letters
second.cpp: duplicate every second vowel
third.sh: swap the first and second half of the word
fourth.rb: replace odd-length words with asterisks
Fifth.java: insert and "a" between double letters
sixth.hs: print the number of consonants
seventh.rkt: switch subsequent vowels
