Do you use TrackerControl from Google Play/F-Droid/other?
TC GitHub v2026-08-05 (and tested F-Droid version 2026-08-05 before, same effect)
Describe the bug
No connection to internet from the car, when connecting through bluetooth tethering on Android. On an earlier version of TC, this used to work well. Turning off TC (and re-connecting the bluetooth connection to the car) allows the car to use internet.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to Settings - Network and Internet - Hotspot and tethering, and turn on Bluetooth tethering (on Android, here LineageOS 23.2/Android 16 on Pixel 5
In car, connect to bluetooth, including 'internet sharing through bluetooth'
Car replies with 'Internet pairing failed'
No internet connection, e.g. for Google Maps in car
Turning off TC on Android, going through same steps, does deliver internet connection.
This may be related to bug #699, where a similar issue occurred for USB Tethering?

Sorry to hear. Have you tried the tethering compatilbity mode from the advanced settings?
Just tried the advanced settings 'tethering compatibility mode': Yes, then I do get tethering working, that sounds like another workaround (apart from turning TC off)
