Description
Hi,
while responding to a mailing list request, I found that it would be helpful to have the timestamps of the old database file in the report to find out when the input database was created.
It would probably be a good idea to include this information in the aide report in the "Attributes of the (uncompressed) databases" section:
- the application-level timestap that gets written into the new database
- the ctime and the mtime of the input file
For safety, it would probably be a good idea not parse the application-level timestamp as it is formatted for a human reader into the introducing comment, but to put a unix timestamp into the file as well.
Greetings
Marc
