What a very terrific project this is. I know it's still a draft, but I started working on this today and if possible, would like to be assigned. Otherwise, I'll keep working on it for my own desire to implement such a feature locally and learn about the codebase. If it ever does make its way out of draft, I'd be happy to be assigned :)
