Did you try using
header_start=? See https://docs.astropy.org/en/stable/io/ascii/read.html#specifying-header-and-data-location@gabbmacedo : This issue has been open for a year. Did you successfully read the table with the advice by @pllim ? If so, can we close the issue? If not, can you tell us what's still missing and maybe upload the table somewhere so we I can try myself on my computer and see what the problem might be?

Im trying to read a table (isochrones) with a commented header but before the header there are more commented lines with infos (i dont want them). Below is the start of the table. The header begins at '' # Zini MH logAge ... " .
Im using ascii.read and tried format='commented_header' but i get this error:
Any ideas?
