Keep attention updates inside the mutation lifecycle and avoid keepalive for oversized payloads. startSettingsAttentionMutation currently creates the PATCH promise before mutationFn, so offline pause/retry can reuse a rejected request instead of issuing a new one. The adapter also always sets keepalive: true even though muted_workspaces is unbounded; browsers may reject payloads above the keepalive quota.
