WalkthroughThe CLI now sanitizes provider-specific settings when an agent provider changes. Equivalent provider aliases and casing do not trigger sanitization. Runtime resolution centralizes reasoning defaults and rejects unsupported reasoning effort values. Tests cover these behaviors. ChangesProvider settings handling

The QA report says no local make gate was run even though this PR changes Go runtime code. The repository requires make gate to pass locally before commit or push, so this requirement must be satisfied before merging.

What & why
When updating an agent definition via the CLI (
compozy agent update), changing the agent's provider without explicitly supplying new model, command, reasoning, or ACP option flags previously retained the old provider's settings. For instance, updating an agent from a provider withreasoning_effort = highto a provider whose reasoning strategy isnoneresulted in the stale reasoning setting silently persisting into the agent record. Subsequent session creation would then deterministically fail with runtime errors. This change ensures that a provider change cleanly sanitizes incompatible provider-specific settings while preserving any explicitly supplied flags:
applyAgentDefinitionOverrides(internal/cli/agent_mutate_requests.go), when the provider flag changes to a different provider:Model,Command,ReasoningEffort, andACPOptionsunless the user explicitly specified corresponding override flags on the command line.validateResolvedAgentRuntime(internal/config/provider_resolve.go), validates that providers configured withReasoningApplyNonereject configuredreasoning_effort, preventing silent runtime misconfigurations.ProviderReasoningConfig(internal/config/provider_reasoning.go), exportsEffectiveReasoningApply()to canonicalize reasoning strategy determination across configuration and discovery layers. How you verified it
