WalkthroughThe session-create hook uses the active workspace default agent for unspecified session actions and the owning workspace default for worktree launches. E2E setup conditionally builds a stamped daemon for lanes with Go suites. The integration test resolves a configured daemon path to an absolute path before checking it. Reviewed the current PR diff and the resolved CodeRabbit finding. The stamped daemon override is normalized before the runtime harness changes working directory; the local gate passed, including daemon race tests and 7,336 Web tests. Final-head CI and Vercel preview remain delivery gates before merge.

🟡 Minor · Bind worktree starts to the owning workspace. · use-session-create.ts:99-105
web/src/systems/session/hooks/use-session-create.ts:99-105
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winBind worktree starts to the owning workspace.
useSessionPromptStagingcan callopenForWorktree(workspaceId, worktreeId)while Global scope is active. The dialog then binds the create request to the home workspace or home path, while the draft retains the worktree owner. Global scope also provides no agent list, so submission rejects the selected default agent and cannot create the session. Switch to the owning workspace before opening the dialog. This also prevents workspace-scoped requests from using a different active workspace.Suggested fix

Reviewed the final worktree launch fix and its focused hook, daemon-served browser, and local gate evidence.
What & why
Fixes #667. Generic Start session actions now preselect the active workspace's registered
default_agent. Worktree launches use their owning workspace's default. Explicit agent choices still win, and workspaces without a configured default retain the existinggeneralfallback. How you verified it
make gatepassed code generation, Mage tests, Go lint and tests, and Web lint and typecheck. Its Web test lane fails locally in three unchanged suites (session-thread,use-channels, andonboarding-setup-frame); the first failure also reproduces in isolation on this macOS host. The GitHub CI run is the remaining validation for this lane.Impact
