Since version 7.14, coverage report now combines coverage files implicitly an I loose intermediate coverage results I wanted to keep by using coverage combine --keep.

Add an option for coverage report that behaves in the same way as the --keep option in coverage combine.

Because there is no option to disable this feature, I don't see any alternatives.
Additional context
The unit and functional test coverage is in separate result files (.coverage.unit and .coverage.functional). I use the coverage combine --keep command to view the full coverage without having to relaunch the tests for the "categories".
