[Feature Request] Duplicate Page Option in context menu #336
It would be super legit to be able to simply duplicate a page if needed. If I want to use the same template or formatting of one page it just makes life easier. Thanks for the great work!!
Hi @bdorr1105 , do you mean adding another button, like Copy Link, that, when clicked, generates a new page identical to your current page? If so, where is this new page generated, e.g., within your page as a child, outside with the main pages, or somewhere else? @Philipinho, is my understanding correct?
What I mean is in that context menu where it says copy link, you could have the option to duplicate the page so it makes an exact copy of it nests it right in the same location and you can move it around by dragging it somewhere else. Sometimes you just want to copy or duplicate a page and this would make it much easier than having to create a blank page, copy all the content from another page and paste it. Hopefully that makes sense
I am not sure, I was actually hope to be able to add custom icons for the pages/subpages. Currently we can choose from emojis, any chance we go request to add custom icons? And if so, it resizes it to the correct size?
Would really love this. I am kind of confused why we can copy a page to another workspace, but not duplicate/copy a page within the same workspace. This would be very useful for my group's workflow.

I have an iterative todo list per-day that I'd like to simply be able to duplicate the existing note of, as an intended use case example.

As of v0.22.0 released 8 hours ago, 'Duplicate page in same space' is now a thing! Thank you! Issue can be closed.
