This API should be only used for advanced diagnostic. I do not think it is a must-have to implement it for .NET 5 in Mono.

@naricc - Do we have a larger tracking issue for all new GC related API implementations ? I don't believe we need to fix this for Mono, but making sure we actually document this somewhere before we close this issue.
