I have a CentOS7 VM with Vagrant's official centos7 box (https://app.vagrantup.com/centos/boxes/7) and tried to build filebench on it. I ran libtoolize and then tried to run aclocal, but it fails with the following error:
unknown channel ttern_allow(^HAVE_PROCSCOPE_PTHREADS$)
cross at /usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/Channels.pm line 638.
Autom4te::Channels::msg('ttern_allow(^HAVE_PROCSCOPE_PTHREADS$)\x{a}cross', 'configure.ac:184', 'warning: cannot check for file existence when cross compiling', 'partial', 1) called at /bin/autom4te line 1026
aclocal: error: echo failed with exit status: 1
The error comes from the following AC_CHECK_FILE m4 macro in configure.ac :
AC_CHECK_FILE(
[/proc/sys/kernel/shmmax],
[AC_DEFINE(HAVE_PROC_SYS_KERNEL_SHMMAX, 1, [Checking if you have /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax])]
)
