Now, I get that plurals can be difficult to handle properly in internationalized software. I've read Locale::Maketext::TPJ13. Nevertheless, libraries exist to handle all of the complexities here. In gettext, there's the ngettext() function, for example. It would be just a nice little bit of polish to use a pluralization function for strings like these.
