I thought @cbracken fixed this (or something like it?).
cbracken commentedon May 30, 2017
@peaklev I assume you mean something like this? @eseidelGoogle, I previously fixed #8744, which covers the arrow key behaviour for cursor movement within a text field for physical keyboards and extended (horizontal) keyboard layouts.
peaklev commentedon May 30, 2017
Yes, looking for the arrow buttons above the keyboard to appear automatically so the user can tab between fields.

Thanks for confirming!

Any update here?
If previous/next is added, the done button would be nice as well.
offtopic: Is there a difference for text and number keyboards? The handling for the done, next buttons are working with the "normal" text keyboard - but not with the number keyboard

Hello devs! Any update on this?
darshankawar commentedon Jan 11, 2023
The behavior seem to persists running on iOS, as shown below, but I am not sure if this is intended behavior or not.
For example, I looked at
contactsapp on iPhone and while adding a new contact, it does not show the previous and next buttons on the keyboard, as shown below:Keeping this issue open and updating the labels.
stable, master flutter doctor -v

This issue seems similar to #72625.
