Steps to Reproduce

  1. Execute flutter run on the code sample
  2. Type some text into the TextField in the AppBar
  3. Attempt to select text to bring up the toolbar and observe the position of the toolbar

Expected results:

    Issue is reproducible on the latest version of flutter stable and master but not on stable 3.3.10.
    This issue was only reproduced on iOS in my testing. It seems like it only happens when the TextField is in an AppBar, but there could be other ways in which this bug reproduces (I haven't found that yet).

    Labeling for further investigation.

    Hi @justinmc, do you have a plan to hotfix this into the current stable branch? Or do we have to wait next stable release? (Maybe 3 months later?)

    This fix is in the master channel, and will shortly be available in the beta channel 3.8.0-4.0.pre.
