Regarding this issue #172147
I discovered that if you have the app in background on iOS and the system decides to kill it and then you try to open it, you will see the last frame session before the splash screen. Or when the app is opened from a notification.
It's definitely happening because I migrated to UIScene, that's the only change that I made.
Is this something intended? @darshankawar@gaaclarke
@amrgetment do you know if there's an existing github issue for that problem? If not could you create one with repro steps? This issue is for tracking the overall migration process and it will be easier to track problems with the migration tool in a separate issue.
@LongCatIsLooong If you are talking about my issue regarding background app state killed by the iOS.
I can't create one with repro steps because it involves the OS to terminate your app.
Hope we can do something about it. It happens a lot in production when you actually use the flutter app and it gets terminated by the OS. You always get the last frame before the native splash screen.
Has anyone experienced hanging at the splash screen on iOS after the migration? Mine just goes to the splash screen and does not do anything else. I see no errors or warning logs from flutter or even if building in Xcode, just the splash screen forever.
