Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a Flutter app using go_router.
  2. Configure AndroidManifest.xml with an to handle https deep links (e.g., https://example.com).
  3. Launch the app from a cold start (app not running) with a deep link that has no explicit path:
adb shell 'am start -a android.intent.action.VIEW -c android.intent.category.BROWSABLE -d "https://example.com"' com.example.android_issue_sample

Expected results

  • The deep link https://example.com should be normalized to https://example.com/,
    preserving the scheme (https) and authority (example.com).
  • Router should correctly recognize this as a deep link and route accordingly.

Actual results

  • The URI is converted to /?, losing the scheme and host.
  • go_router treats this as a relative route rather than the full deep link.
  • Example log output:

    Thanks for the report. Seeing the same behaviour with latest SDK versions. Tested on Android. I fixed the syntax issue in the manifest you provided, which was necessary to replicate the bug you've reported.
