iOS Runtime duplicate error #180141
Description
Help us understand the severity of this issue
- breakage; unable to contribute or trigger builds will no workarounds
- inconvenient workarounds exist, but significant effort required
- needed for a Flutter team-wide priority (already agreed upon)
- nice-to-have; none of the above
What do you need help with
In our recipes, we install Xcode and the simulator if needed. Before installing the simulator, we check to see if it's already mounted before trying to install it.

This seems to be not working reliably since we're getting duplicate errors:

This issue has been sporadically occurring during presubmit/postsubmit checks. It occasionally turns the tree red or makes our autorollers fail. A few examples from the past day:

I think what we'll need to do is make the error non-failing, check if the error is due to duplicate and then try doing `simctl list runtimes' to see if the runtime is there.
From what I can tell on subsequent runs, it appears the runtime is installed properly:
