Flutter app randomly doesn't start, and shows only a white screen. #18730
I get this a lot. I run the emulator, run the app, then:
Launching lib\test\test_demo.dart on Android SDK built for x86 in debug mode...
Initializing gradle...
Resolving dependencies...
Running 'gradlew assembleDebug'...
Built build\app\outputs\apk\debug\app-debug.apk.
Installing build\app\outputs\apk\app.apk...
Syncing files to device Android SDK built for x86...
The app screen appears, all white, and that's it, nothing else ever happens. If I terminate and try again, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, randomly. Sometimes, even, the emulator reboots, and then after it reopens I get a dialog saying: "Settings has stopped. Open app Again". In this case, I get this in the console:
Launching lib\test\test_demo.dart on Android SDK built for x86 in debug mode...mode...
Initializing gradle...
Resolving dependencies...
Running 'gradlew assembleDebug'...
Built build\app\outputs\apk\debug\app-debug.apk.
Installing build\app\outputs\apk\app.apk...
Error: ADB exited with exit code 1
adb: failed to install build\app\outputs\apk\app.apk:
Error launching application on Android SDK built for x86.

@zoechi Once I got this error message. Maybe what's happening when I get no messages is that the connection to the simulated device is somehow lost, and then it cannot display the error message. I mean, I believe there is some error that get swallowed by the fact it can't send the info to the console. (Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but I figured I would paste this error message here anyways).

I have been having this issue with some apps and noth others. I tried changing the flutter channel to master, doing a clean, changing devices, and nothing worked.
Edit: In my case it was a silly mistake; I didn't envoke 'runApp', I had just tried calling my entry point Widget.

@marcglasberg Great! Thanks for the update. I'm going to close it then.
Just create a new issue if you run into it again.
