   When you build the project you are building from Runner.xcworkspace not Runner.xcodeproj right?

   This may be a bug in a plugin. What are your dependencies? Could you show us the contents of your GeneratedPluginRegistrant.m?

   @calvinmuller You are probably building from the xcodeproj not the xcworkspace as I noted above.

   @calvinmuller IntelliJ can't compile the app, Xcode does it. If it is presenting a front end to xcode projects you need to look into why IntelliJ is building from the .xcodeproj, not the .xcworkspace.

   You said "Open iOS in XCode" in your description, not IntelliJ. When you open in Xcode, can you confirm you have opened ios/Runner.xcworkspace and NOT ios/Runner.xcodeproj? Or are you saying you see the errors from another IDE?

    I think this issue is weird. Credit from #41900
    It looks like you need to:
    rm -rf ios/Podfile ios/Podfile.lock ios/Pods ios/Runner.xcworkspace

    and then run
    flutter run

    That could work because the legacy build system was on. I need to know if ios/Runner.xcworkspace/xcshareddata/WorkspaceSettings.xcsettings contains:

    <key>BuildSystemType</key>	
    <string>Original</string>
    

    or in the UI you can see it in File > Workspace Settings > Build System.

    My issue was resolved after upgrading flutter to latest stable channel which further led to upgrading few plugins as well. pod update then did the trick. I am finally able to launch my app and work on it after battling since Monday morning.
