    The autotools flags are something like (I'm sure this is missing something important):

    ./autogen.sh CC="xcrun gcc -isysroot /path/to/xcode/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX11.0.sdk" \
        CXX="xcrun g++ -isysroot /path/to/xcode/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX11.0.sdk" \
        CPPFLAGS="-arch arm64" CFLAGS="-arch arm64" --host arm-apple-darwin

    Then lipod together with the x86_64 executables.

    hi,I want to help to modify the what you said ./autogen.sh.
    But as far as I know, the zip files of show below is download from http://flutter-storage.com/flutter_infra_release/ios-usb-dependencies/XXX/ + XXX.version. And the zip files is uploaded by googler .What can I do to help fix it ? And am I commit a M1 support./autogen.sh to belong repo like autogen.sh directly is ok?

    I have a question to this. Bought the new Mac M1 Pro, with the expectation of faster unit and widget tests, but actually the tests complete slower on the M1 Pro then on the Mac with Intel i9 2019. Has this something to do that there are still some flutter things running under Rosetta or is it due to the fact that the Intel i9 performs better on multi core? I assume running tests is primarily a multi core operation.

    @acoutts

    While dart indeed supports arm64, flutter is still shipping the intel version of dart.
    #60118

    More specifically: #86926 (but they closed it and linked to #60118)

    Ok two followups:

    • Is this the reason for the performance decrease from Intel to M1 OR is it the slower multi core speed?
    • When are they planning to include it into Flutter?

    I reopened #86926, you can follow along on shipping the arm dart SDK there.
    This issue is only tracking adding the architecture slice for the listed binaries.

    I was curious about outstanding offenders and while most are gen_snapshot related there are a handful of others. Looking forward to this being resolved as I'm trying to avoid installing Rosetta on this new machine almost two years post arm64 transition.

    find . -type f -exec file -- {} + | grep 'executable x86_64'

    Thanks for all of the efforts in this direction!

    We're close to completing this so Flutter developers don't need to install Rosetta for any flows.
    The last work is tracked in #180694, which is blocked on #121178, which is being actively worked on.

    Apple announcement:

    macOS 26.4: Users may receive a system notification when launching apps that rely on Rosetta, alerting them to update to an Apple silicon native version.

    macOS 27: Final release to support Rosetta — Intel-only apps will no longer run on Macs with Apple silicon after this update.
