The cursor in a text field is not the same size as Android apps #7034
If you compare the cursor in the wifi "add network" dialog's text fields to our own, you can see that our cursor is both narrower and shorter than the system widget's cursor.
@heath3n try giving textstyle height of 1.2 according to device height. But this is only for tablet that i have done. This is just a workaround. I dont think there is any proper solution to it as of now.

/cc @GaryQian @jslavitz I think one of you were recently working on cursor size. Did this get fixed by any chance as part of that work?

The cursor height is also noticeably shorter when no text has been entered vs when it succeeds an entered character.

The cursor situation has changed a lot since this issue was opened, so I'm going to go ahead and close this in favor of: #120836
