   @Mayank-9018 Have you tried the dev/master branch of Flutter? In desktop is possible that the stable snapshot has some bugs that are already fixed in higher versions.

   Thanks @TahaTesser for responding.

   The error occurs on Hot Restarting and not Hot Reloading. (My bad)

   The video I uploaded seems unplayable for some reason, here's a new one(it just wouldn't upload on Github):

   In the video, it occured after 4-5 restarts but sometimes it would just happen on first restart.

    Thanks for the details, hot restart does reproduce the issue on Linux desktop, doesn't reproduce on the web

    Just TextField is needed to reproduce, autofocus makes it easier but the issue also reproduces without it

    I can consistently reproduce this issue with the following steps: (on an app with only a text field)

    • Start the app
    • Alt-Tab to the terminal
    • Hot restart
    • Switch back to the app.

    There are two unexpected behaviors:

    1. The text field no longer displays texts. (This behavior will disappear after another hot restart.)
    2. The CLI reports the crash log. (This behavior persists after another hot restart.)

    This should be fixed by the following PRs:

    • [Linux] Fix crash when a method channel is reassigned flutter-team-archive/engine#28878
    • [Linux, Embedder] Add engine restart hooks flutter-team-archive/engine#28924
    • [Linux] Reset keyboard states on engine restart flutter-team-archive/engine#28877
