Hi guys, there is a similar issue with OmniOS bloody where neither gpg2 nor gpg exists. Could this be?
root@omniosce:~/pkgsrc# uname -a
SunOS omniosce 5.11 omnios-master-5b83ca0623 i86pc i386 i86pc
root@omniosce:~/pkgsrc# curl -sS https://pkgsrc.joyent.com/pgp/DE817B8E.asc | gpg2 --import
-bash: gpg2: command not found
curl: (23) Failed writing body (5120 != 5306)As the instructions say, this requires that gpg is installed on the host. This will differ depending on the illumos distribution you are using.
Reacted by jdrch@liv3010m Google "OmniOS gpg" to find the correct package for your OS. Then run the installation command with it, then then replace the
gpg2entry in the instructions with that package name.Sorry I was to quick to post this. I'm already installing gpg! ;)

No worries. Once you do that, everything should work.
Yup, everything up right now. thanks!

SmartOS uses gpg. It looks like this fix broke the instructions for SmartOS and SmartOS GZ. I'm running SmartOS 20200422.

Following the Choose Your Illumos Package Set & Upgrades instructions on OpenIndiana Hipster can be problematic for new users, as attempting to use
gpgreturns-bash: gpg: command not found. Please update or add documentation to use
gpg2instead, as that works.
