This project contains the sample code of Keikai Developer Reference.

Please read various use cases in blog.

If you are new to run Keikai, we recommend you to read Tutorial first to know some basic ideas.

Clone the project and launch your command line interface in the folder with pom.xml. Execute the following commands based on your OS.

mvn jetty:run

It starts faster than Tomcat, but JSP/JSF doesn't work.

Run the Maven wrapper below which will download everything needed for you during starting up:

• Linux / Mac

./mvnw [SAME_GOAL_ABOVE]

• Windows

mvnw.cmd [SAME_GOAL_ABOVE]

After the server starts up, visit http://localhost:8080/dev-ref with your browser. You will be seeing a list of examples, these examples are explained in Keikai Developer Reference.

After finishing trying it out, you can press Ctrl+c to stop the server.

This project ships browser-based smoke tests built on zk-webdriver (JUnit 5, embedded Jetty + headless Chrome). They open real pages, check browser console errors / ZK error boxes / spreadsheet rendering, and write one JSON record per page under target/smoke/ (plus a screenshot) for cross-version comparison.

Requirements: JDK 17+ and a local Chrome installation. Run in the folder with pom.xml (use ./mvnw / mvnw.cmd if Maven is not installed):

# smoke-load every page (zul + html); merges results into target/smoke/baseline-<version>.json

Useful switches:

• -Dheadless=false — watch the browser while a test runs.
• -Dkeikai.version=... — only stamps the version string into the JSON records; the actual Keikai version under test comes from pom.xml (switch git branches to test another version).

Notes:

• JSP/JSF pages and a few pages with preconditions are skipped with a reason (see SKIP / KNOWN_BASELINE_ISSUES in Tier0SmokeTest); skipped pages still get a JSON record so the page inventory stays complete.
• To compare two versions, run Tier0SmokeTest on each branch, keep both baseline-*.json files, and diff them.

Freshly release contains the latest features and bug fixes that are under development. It's built for testing and evaluation. Welcome to try it and give us feedback.

The steps are:

1. check the latest freshly version at evaluation repo
2. change the keikai version in pom.xml
3. run the project according to How to Run This Project

We create the folder and file names according to the section name of Developer Reference. So that you can easily identify a section and its corresponding example zul.
