savetxt doesn't handle recarrays with substructures. (Trac #1744) #2339

test case:
ar = zeros(dtype=[('pos', ('f4', 3)), ('vel', ('f4', 3))], shape=10)
savetxt("ar", ar)
TypeError: float argument required, not numpy.ndarray.

I'm not sure how
savetxtshould work in this circumstance. So not sure if this is a defect or an enhancement request.
