Consider new clause names for THEME, GUIDE, and COORD #19
The THEME, GUIDE and COORD clauses are the least verb-y of the CLAUSES and they read rather poorly compared to the rest. The verb version of THEME is STYLE imo, but my imagination is failing me on the remaining two so input is welcome here
Guiding is what guides do and the singular 'guide' fits well. I also think that 'I theme my plot' works but 'I coordinate my plot' does not work well (it feels like you're collaborating with somebody else on a plot, rather than declare a system of coordinates). Maybe 'project', as in 'I project my plot in Cartesian coordinates'?
I'm not convinced GUIDE is a good action verb for what it does. True, it guides the viewer, but what it will read like is GUIDE x ..., ie. it is guiding x, not the user. I also disagree that theme is a good verb (especially when STYLE is right there)
I like PROJECT - I was trapped in MAP but that would be confusing with our other use of MAPPING
