[Bug] Pybricks Udev rules should be < 73 #2783

Open

Description

Describe the bug

Apparently the uaccess tag needs the file to be named less than 73, not the 99 we currently use.

systemd/systemd#4288 (comment)

I remember struggling with this in the past, although I am not actually sure that it was uaccess that made the difference.

Either way, we can include it as a downloadable file in Pybricks Code, along with an example command to sudo move it to udev rules, so users won't have to install pipx and pybricksdev to do it.

    For Ubuntu, we also have https://launchpad.net/~pybricks/+archive/ubuntu/ppa to apt install it.

    This has been updated in Pybricks Code. The udev rule set has also been shortened a lot:

    # udev rules for LEGO hubs, for use with Pybricks.

    # LEGO hubs: WebUSB (DFU, NXT), WebHID (EV3) and Web Serial (Pybricks firmware).
    SUBSYSTEM=="usb|hidraw|tty", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0694", TAG+="uaccess", ENV{ID_MM_DEVICE_IGNORE}="1"

    # Chromium snap: the raw-usb interface covers usb and tty but not hidraw, so let
    # the snap use the EV3 by adding it to its device cgroup. This file must sort
    # before 70-snap.chromium.rules for the tag to be seen there.
    SUBSYSTEM=="hidraw", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0694", TAG+="snap_chromium_chromium"

    # MINDSTORMS NXT in firmware update mode (Atmel SAM-BA).
    SUBSYSTEM=="usb|tty", ATTRS{idVendor}=="03eb", ATTRS{idProduct}=="6124", TAG+="uaccess", ENV{ID_MM_DEVICE_IGNORE}="1"

    So in addition to adding something to Pybricks Code, need to update https://github.com/pybricks/pbrick-rules and https://github.com/pybricks/pybricksdev/blob/master/pybricksdev/resources/99-pybricksdev.rules

    How do you feel about removing those?
