Instances of e.g. List[T] each time this occurs in an expression ought to be cached to reduce memory consumption. Mark Shannon believes this is really important. I propose we can improve this after the beta-1 release.

    I propose not to do this. The PEP now forbids e.g. Node[int]() and recommends using an alias, e.g.

    IntNode = Node[int]
x = IntNode()
