Each time I launched PYMEAcquire, the first image captured would take some time to load, which was evident in Queue Acquiring. For instance, when I opened PYMEAcquire and immediately initiated the continuous acquisition of 100 frames with an exposure time of 100 ms, the total time was 12 seconds. Subsequently, when I acquired another 100 frames, the total time was reduced to 10 seconds. The reason I found was that each time I started PYMEAcquire, the first image captured would trigger a run of 'guess_install_type,' which was relatively time-consuming on my machine. It's not a serious problem, but I think it's best to make some changes to avoid this puzzling scenario.

Describe the solution you'd like
Since this function will only run once per run of PYMEAcquire, I would suggest executing it at the end of the Mainframe's init. Andrew suggests adding from PYME.version import detailed_version followed by detailed _version() to get around this. This works fine on my machine.
