Fine-grained control over debug output #276

Description

From r.wetzlmayr on September 28, 2012 09:30:14

Debug output on the public side like "Textpattern Notice: Article tags cannot be used outside an article context" may need some finer controls to hide intimidating implementation details from the general public.

Control candidates might be:

  • logged-in state of current visitor
  • privilege levels (i.e. a less coarse implementation of the "logged-in state" control)
  • a preference to turn debug output on/off

See http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=38693 .
