Following the steps taken by preferences, other content types would benefit same type of API system. Primarily those that share relations, like users.
User API should include base options to;
- Assign assets (DB column map extensible by plugins).
- Remove users
- Add users
- Update existing users
Especially assigning is very crucial for any plugin that deals with user tied content.
