[WIP] Rewriting in Rust PyO3 python lib - Student / Learning project #158
Description
Hello, I've selected this repository to learn Rust ecosystem (and language too).
I'm trying to rewrite the librairy and increase the execution speed (the goal by using Rust of course...)
Any help, advice, guidance, kind comment are welcome !

This is a wrapper, so you will not gain any speed unless you rewrite its dependencies. I recommend identifying the package’s dependencies and rewriting them in Rust.

The native Rust/PyO3 rewrite remains deferred. No measured performance justification or Rust integration is claimed by #191.
The default algorithm remains legacy; improved output rules are opt-in. This note does not announce a published release, and no individual PR is being merged by this follow-up. Thank you for the contribution and discussion.
